About Bracebridge Arts Council
Theatre Muskoka (formerly Bracebridge Arts Council) is a registered not-for-profit charity community
organization whose goal is to nurture, stimulate, and enhance the enjoyment and understanding of the performing arts while encouraging the pursuit of excellence in performance, craftsmanship, and design.
Theatre Muskoka oversees the operation and management of the Rene M. Caisse Memorial Theatre which
opened in 2007 as a first class performing arts facility. The Theatre is located within a modern complex that
also houses Bracebridge and Muskoka Lakes Secondary School and the Bracebridge Sports and Recreation Complex.
Our Board of Directors is always looking for members who are energetic, motivated, and have a keen interest in
promoting the performing arts and in supporting our community theatre. We need members who have special
skills or interests in fundraising, business management, community & public relations, marketing, legal, and accounting.
We also works as a fundraising committee, looking for unique ways to encourage donors, income opportunities, and volunteer contributors to help keep the theatre in operation.
Theatre Muskoka Presents … is a new initiative to bring theatre professionals in our community to the Rene M. Caisse Stage through Board Produced Musicals and Plays. Sponsorship of these shows brings great perks to donors who love theatre as well as giving them great community advertising reach.
