MUSKOKA GLEE CLUB
Presented by Theatre Muskoka

NEW DATES! April 23- June 25

Muskoka Glee Club will be a welcoming, easy-going environment where anyone can come belt out their favourite show tunes in a professional-style rehearsal setting. The classes are accessible for curious theatre newcomers, while also offering a fulfilling, indulgent outlet for seasoned theatre veterans in the community. Over the course of 10 weeks, participants will explore a variety of group musical theatre numbers spanning multiple styles and generations. Each 90-minute class will begin with a physical and vocal warm-up, followed by learning basic harmonies and, when appropriate, simple movement or choreography. Classes will run Thursdays from 7:00-8:30 PM, beginning April 23 and continuing for 10 weeks through June 25. Onstage at the Rene M. Caisse Theatre. Open to adults 18+. No previous experience required.

Produced by the BMLSS drama club, Getting the Axe is a murder mystery in two acts.

When a group goes away to a Vermont B&B for a corporate retreat, disaster strikes with the death of a colleague. What follows is a hilarious and revealing case where more gets revealed about the office dynamics than anyone bargained for.

Parents and guardians should note this show has a 
​PG -13 rating for some of the humour involved.

We invite you to a special night in support of our talented young musicians. For just $25, you’ll enjoy a hearty spaghetti dinner followed by a live performance featuring the Monck Public School Grade 7 & 8 Concert Band and Jazz Band as well as the Grade 6 band and Grade 5 recorder class. 

All proceeds directly support our Grade 8 Concert Band’s trip to the National Music Festival.

It’s got all the twists of an Agatha Christie novel, but with ten times the laughs! Who did it? Come find out!

THE ROCK SINGERS OF MUSKOKA presents SHUFFLE THE DECADES: Rock Hits Across Eras, under the direction of Alana Nuedling. Last Season we 'Rocked the Odds', now we're 'Rollin’ the Evens' with Hits from the 1940s, 1960’s, 1980’s, 2000’s, and 2020’s. This engaging show takes you on a fun journey through rock 'n' roll history with 75 voices backed by a live band. It spotlights timeless hits from even decades, evoking the feel of each era with great harmonies that get the crowd singing along. Under Alana Nuedling's direction, The Rock Singers of Muskoka deliver their signature style and passion for music across the years.

The Rock Singers of Muskoka is a welcoming, non-auditioned community choir that brings together singers to share in the joy of music. Together, we create Classic-Pop Rock musical experiences to share.

From the first tentative steps of our littlest performers to the refined artistry of our senior students, this production is a tribute to the fleeting moments that stay in our hearts forever. Join us for a performance of dance that reminds us all to cherish the magic of today.

Join us for a week on stage and in the spotlight as students audition, rehearse, and perform a full length production in just ONE WEEK!

HUB Show camps create a no-pressure, fun environment where students become part of an ensemble of all ages. Our specialized HUB camp counsellor's are led by professionals in the industry and are active performers, dancers, singers themselves.

Campers can look forward to plenty of time on-stage, costumes, lighting and sound, choreography, singing and acting instruction, outdoor free-time, Friday FREE pizza lunch and a LIVE presentation of their show on the big stage for friends and family to watch.

We Walk the Line: A Tribute to Johnny Cash

This hit after hit show is a true Johnny Cash Experience that celebrates the music and lives of “The Man in Black” and his fun-loving wife, June Carter. The concert covers the entire career of Johnny Cash from the 1950's at Sun Records to 2003 with the American Recordings label and includes Johnny's biggest hits Ring of Fire, Boy Named Sue, I Walk the Line, Folsom Prison Blues, Hurt, and the famous duet with June Carter, Jackson, amongst other classic songs. The concert performance features Ward Cornforth as a 1960s 1960s-era Johnny Cash and duets performed with Johnny’s lifelong partner June Carter.
