Experience an afternoon of rich sound and musical excellence with the Orillia Silver Band, one of Ontario’s most respected community brass bands, under the direction of acclaimed conductor Neil Barlow.

This show is concepted as a multimedia event, including wonderful music evocative of the Scottish Highlands along with simultaneously projected pictures and video clips of the places you'll visit together on this musical trip.

Known for their dynamic performances and wide-ranging repertoire, the Orillia Silver Band brings together precision, passion, and powerful brass traditions in a concert that will appeal to longtime band enthusiasts and newcomers alike. Under Barlow’s leadership, the ensemble delivers performances that are both technically impressive and deeply engaging. MUSKOKA GLEE CLUB
Presented by Theatre Muskoka

April 1- June 3

Muskoka Glee Club will be a welcoming, easy-going environment where anyone can come belt out their favourite show tunes in a professional-style rehearsal setting. The classes are accessible for curious theatre newcomers, while also offering a fulfilling, indulgent outlet for seasoned theatre veterans in the community. Over the course of 10 weeks, participants will explore a variety of group musical theatre numbers spanning multiple styles and generations. Each 90-minute class will begin with a physical and vocal warm-up, followed by learning basic harmonies and, when appropriate, simple movement or choreography. Classes will run Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30 PM, beginning April 1 and continuing for 10 weeks through June 3. Onstage at the Rene M. Caisse Theatre. Open to adults 18+. No previous experience required.

We Walk the Line: A Tribute to Johnny Cash

This hit after hit show is a true Johnny Cash Experience that celebrates the music and lives of “The Man in Black” and his fun-loving wife, June Carter. The concert covers the entire career of Johnny Cash from the 1950's at Sun Records to 2003 with the American Recordings label and includes Johnny's biggest hits Ring of Fire, Boy Named Sue, I Walk the Line, Folsom Prison Blues, Hurt, and the famous duet with June Carter, Jackson, amongst other classic songs. The concert performance features Ward Cornforth as a 1960s 1960s-era Johnny Cash and duets performed with Johnny’s lifelong partner June Carter.
